Welcome to Manorvale Primary School Arts!

This term is a busy one for Manorvale Arts.

Our dance team is performing next Tuesday 7th August at Hisense Arena. Everyone is very excited and looking forward to the big stage. Everyone in the J Rock team has pulled together to create a fantastic performance. Our parent, staff and student helpers have created wonderful costumes which help to tell our story. Jess from A3 ( Australian Performing Arts School) and Miss Armstrong have created the design and choreography and trained the dancers. The story is called, "An Epic Adventure at Grandma's House." Two children whilst visiting grandma's house discover that using their imagination stimulated by a few unusual objects from grandma's house could take the on an amazing adventure; from the technology they were obsessively using, to Africa, a pirate battle and then to discover one of music's icons. Many hours have gone into preparing the team for the day and thanks to all involved.

September 4th is the set up day for the Wyndham Visual Arts Festival at Werribee Plaza. Work has been collected throughout the years to showcase. Preps will have their robots and perhaps some 3D vehicles. 1/2 will have some Olympic medals, 3/4 the Olympic Opening Ceremony and 5/6 some Werribee mansion work.

Unfortunately the Wyndham Events Centre is being refurbished and consequently the Wyndham Performing Arts Festival has been cancelled.

The concerts location is yet to be announced.
